It’s hard to believe, but Your Cre8tivity’s first post was one year ago today.

Where We Started

When Gemini and I started this blog, we weren’t exactly sure what we were doing. We knew that we wanted to inspire and provoke creativity - not just for the people who already thought of themselves as creative, but also for people who didn’t think of themselves as creative. Just how we were going to do that, we weren’t sure.

We started with a couple of prompts a week and an occasional article about creativity. We got some feedback from readers. And it was wonderful knowing that we had helped a few people rediscover their creativity.

Where We’ve Been

We hit a few bumps in the road. Learning how to use the blog and which plugins to use was interesting and sometimes frustrating. Finding Quick Step prompts was, at times, difficult - especially when our creative spirits drooped. Mundane, real-life events got in the way - things like both of us buying houses, making unscheduled trips and illness. The occasional articles got lost along the way.

Where We’re Going

Your regularly scheduled Quick Step prompts will continue to be posted every day. Articles on creativity will return - hopefully on a weekly basis. In addition, each week you’ll see a post highlighting the posts and prompts from a year ago that week.
